The 78th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) were held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Hosted by David Tennant, the ceremony celebrated outstanding achievements in British and international cinema.

  • EE Rising Star Award: David Jonsson

  • Best Film Not in the English Language: Emilia Pérez

  • Best Animated Film: Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl

  • Best Documentary: Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story

  • Best Special Visual Effects: Dune: Part Two

  • Best Sound: Dune: Part Two

  • Best Costume Design: Wicked

  • Best Production Design: Wicked

  • Best Cinematography: The Brutalist

  • Best Original Score: The Brutalist

  • Best Editing: Conclave

  • Best Make-Up & Hair: The Substance

  • Best Casting: Anora

  • Best British Short Film: Rock, Paper, Scissors

  • Best British Short Animation: Wander to Wonder

Conclave led the night with four awards, while The Brutalist and Anora each secured three.
