Message from the Founder

I grew up in the Black Sea region of Turkey, near the border with Batumi, Georgia. At the age of nine, I moved to Istanbul to attend a renowned boarding school and lived there until graduating from university.

Coming from a border town and majoring in International Relations, I was naturally drawn to different cultures and regions of the world. This curiosity led me to Argentina right after graduation, where I spent two years in Buenos Aires studying Spanish and experiencing the vibrant culture of Latin America.

Upon returning to Turkey, I began working as a project manager at an ICT firm in Ankara. Soon after, I was entrusted with leading the company’s South Africa branch as Operations Manager, a role I carried out for three years across Gauteng and Cape Town. During this time, our company served 500,000 Game & Music subscribers and was recognized as Vodafone South Africa’s prime partner for three consecutive years—2013, 2014, and 2015—alongside MTN and Cell C. Our expansion efforts also extended into Kenya, Nigeria, and Ghana.

In 2016, I moved to Tokyo, Japan, where I immersed myself in Japanese language and cuisine while managing a mobile game startup. During a trip back home, I was invited by my former ICT company to take on a new assignment in Ukraine, where they had recently invested. I accepted and relocated to Ukraine in November 2017.

There, I co-founded Yujnaya Amerika, a travel platform focused on South America, inspired by a successful Turkish version. I also launched a startup connecting Airbnb hosts with property service providers. Unfortunately, both ventures were severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and I made the decision to return to my hometown.

Back in Turkey, I joined AirportTransfer.com as an Operations Executive, responsible for acquiring new suppliers worldwide. Then moved to B2B and led the department for a remarkable period of time.

Motivated to forge my own path in the travel industry, I founded Point2Point Transfer in 2024.
