Message from the Founder

I'm from the Black Sea Region of Turkey near Batumi, Georgia. At the age of 9, I moved to Istanbul to attend a boarding school and stayed there until graduating from university.

Having been raised in a border town and majoring in International Relations fueled my passion for exploring other cultures and regions of the world.

So, right after graduation, I embarked on a journey to Argentina, where I spent 2 years in Buenos Aires studying Spanish and enjoying the vibrant Latin American culture.

Additionally, I underwent six months of training as a Financial Language Data Editor with Capital IQ, a division of Standard & Poor's.

After returning to Turkey, I took on a project management role at an ICT firm in Ankara. Later, I was given the chance to become the operations manager for the company’s South Africa branch, a position I held for three years in Gauteng and Cape Town. While there, our company catered to 500,000 Game & Music subscribers and earned recognition as Vodafone South Africa's main partner for three consecutive years—2013, 2014, and 2015—alongside MTN and Cell C. Our growth initiatives also extended into Kenya, Nigeria, and Ghana during that time.

In 2016, I decided to relocate to Tokyo, Japan, where I immersed myself in studying the Japanese language and cuisine while overseeing a mobile game startup. During a trip back home, my previous ICT company contacted me regarding a new position in Ukraine, where they had just invested. I accepted the offer and moved to Ukraine in November 2017.

In Ukraine, I co-founded Yujnaya Amerika, a travel platform focused on South America, building upon a successful Turkish version. I also initiated a startup designed to connect Airbnb hosts with property service providers. Unfortunately, both ventures were adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading me to make the decision to return to my hometown.

Back in Turkey, I joined AirportTransfer.com as an Operations Executive, responsible for acquiring new suppliers worldwide. Then moved to B2B and led the department for a remarkable period of time.

Motivated to forge my own path in the travel industry, I launched Point 2 Point Transfer.
